Additionally it has a screen loupe and a RGB value window.
You can also draw points, lines, rectangles, ellipse, polylines, bitmaps and text as temporary objects on the screen.

Great software - did exactly what I wanted to do to measure an angle accurately from a photo. This is probably the first and only time I'll use it, so perhaps it might be worth considering an online version of the software so you don't have to download and install....?

Very Exciting.. It was easier than printing a paper and measuring by protractor.

It is a very nice tool, however, I was really looking for a feature to get the degrees between two planes (self traced lines) on an X-ray/CT-scan. That was quite difficult, since I had to first find the angle of one with the horizontal by moving the ruler to its base, then of the other (through the same method) and finally had to calculate the difference of the two readings. It would have been nice to have had the option of drawing the axes, as well as lines/planes as required.

basically it did what it suppose to do. however, the user interface is quite raw and the control setting should improve and be more user friendly.

EXCELLENT overlay tool! I can see it would be instrumental for drafting or architectual drawings. I use it in my golf business to ensure my launch monitor is properly calibrated. THANKS!

I download this ruler yesterday and whilst it is useful I wont be using it that much as I am looking for a point and click ruler where I don't have to line up the ruler on the object I want to measure.

MB-Ruler 3.5 is exactly what I needed. I needed a tool that would allow me to measure angles of objects on the screen. MB-Ruler did that and more. I was able to use it immediately; it was so easy. I was able to not only measure the angles but also scale the object to fit my needs. MB-Ruler is a great tool to have. The install gives you a choice of where to put a schort cut if at all. I added it to my quick launch for easy access without having to do it manually. I recommend MB-Ruler 3.5 to anyone.

Greetings, I am using your program for fast measure of distance and azimuth on commercial map software. I must say I am very surprised with easiness of use, when compared to tools embedded to our software, especially hot-key to show/hide MB-Ruler is just godsend. However I also have one suggesstion to improve easiness even more. If you place origin of coordinates/ruler after at the actual position of mouse, it would be huge time-saving improvement in my opinion.

Great tool!
Hello - I really enjoyed using your MBR! I am using it as an onscreen protractor and distance scale to practice flight navigation with a flight simulator. It MBR is an excellent tool to use in conjunction with the on-screen maps and charts at "http://www.skyvector.com"........ --- (Please note: the asterisk "*" is used as the "degree" symbol in the following) --- If there was any request I could make would be to add the ability to "flip" the triangle to allow the 360* reading to act like a compass (North = 360*, East = 090*, South = 180* and West = 270*). -- Thanks again, CJW

MB-Ruler is effective for the uses I have
I am not in need of a technical drawing or CAD program (or more precisely, not in need of paying for such a program). Mostly, the simple diagrams I need can be constructed in MS Paint. Occasionally, I need, for instance, to create a wedge that is exactly 1/6th or 1/8th of a circle, or to measure an angle with some precision. This tool is easy to use and effective at this. The few problems I had with it would have been solved if I had read the directions before use, and occasionally I found that a click that I wanted MB-Ruler to interpret was a click that MS Paint interpreted as well, in unwanted ways. That is a very minor difficulty. I only require a small part of the full functionality of this tool, but I do not doubt that it would be just as good or better for people who need to use more of its capabilities.
